Why Should You Cleanse Your Liver?
The liver plays an essential role in the body including metabolism, digestion, energy storage, and hormone production. It is also the major detoxifying organ in the body.
The liver is also pivotal for purifying the blood and plays a key role in converting carbohydrates to energy, as well as storing energy in the form of glycogen and fats. It is responsible for these vital functions:
- Filtering and processing all food, nutrients, alcohol, drugs, and other materials that enter the bloodstream and letting them pass, and breaking them down or storing them
- Manufacturing bile needed to emulsify fats for digestion
- Making and breaking down many hormones, including cholesterol, testosterone, and estrogens
- Regulating blood sugar levels
Virtually every function of the human body depends on the liver.
There are two major phases of normal liver detoxification:
Phase 1 Detoxification- where biotransformation take place
Phase 2 Detoxification- where conjugation takes place
Without going into the full anatomy session of the liver I will summarize for clarity purposes.
In phase one of detoxification, toxins are broken down (enzymes break down toxins, drugs, alcohol, caffeine, hormones, etc.) that are fat soluble by removing molecules of the substance.
In phase two of detoxification, the natural substances are added to the metabolites (broken down toxins) from phase one. This forms a substance that is no longer toxic and is ready to be transported out of the body.
Sounds great, right? However, if your liver is not working properly and phase two is not able to flush the broken down toxins out, your body becomes overloaded with toxins. To make sure that the liver is working properly a good liver cleanse is recommended. It is important to reduce and eliminate toxins from our environment, from foods we eat, as well as being sure to consume adequate amounts of the nutrients needed for proper detoxification.

IS IT TIME TO DETOXIFY?
You cannot successfully cleanse your liver without addressing the emotional side to the liver. The emotions that are connected to the liver and gallbladder are anger and resentment. Symptoms can range from restless legs, outbursts and even violence. You will learn how to put to use emotional release techniques that raise energy levels, calms the mind, changes focus, shifts perception, removes negative connections, releases blocked energy and releases those toxic, trapped emotions.
I have put together a way to naturally cleanse your liver that covers nutrition, elimination, and emotional support. Cleansing gives the body strength to fight off disease and frees the overloaded liver from the accumulation of toxins, mucus, and parasites that build up through the years.
